Blue Lagoon, Ilocos Norte After resting for the night, near Blue Lagoon, we are in high spirits! I'm also excited for the recreational activities we will do. Including ATV and superman zipline! The views of the Lagoon are topnotch and pairing it with Hannahs Beach Resort's amenities is the best way to enjoy the place. If you are only going in for a day tour, there is a fee of 200/person. We decided to go with ATV riding for the first activity to save time since the zipline would only open at around noon. The ride costs 400 each for roughly 15-20mins of rental. ATV riding at the seaside! There's a lot of spectacular views around. We were in awe while going around the place. NOTE: There's a lot of stairs and uphill climb. Tiring but worth it! Statue of Liberty replica   . . At the top of the resort you have a 180-degree view of Blue Lagoon with various amenities offered by the resort. It has around 4 huge swimming

Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte After spending the night at Vitalis, we headed back north -way back north- to see more awesome destinations that Ilocos offers. We rented a tricycle to reach most of our destinations today which most people do since it would be time-efficient and hassle-free. Our First stop: Cape Bojeador Signage along the highway This is the drop off point since only tricycles are allowed to go up. As far as I know this is for the livelihood of the locals there and also to minimize unwanted garbage that tourists might bring. The tricycle rental would cover Cape Bojeador and Kapurpurawan Rock Formation but we opted to only go to the former because we have other places we plan to visit. The lighthouse at the peak On the site itself is a bit of a historical landmark and a cultural heritage that serves as a beacon of light for passing ships and fishermen since the 19th century. Inside there are four rooms which displays artifacts and

VITALIS VILLAS, ILOCOS SUR Located at Sabangan, Santiago, Ilocos Sur, is one of the most breathtaking place I have ever been. Have you ever been at Santorini, Greece? No? Well, this is a taste of that paradise! You can enjoy the beautiful view of the sea and the Greek-like vibes that the place emanates. NOTE : "Vitalis Villas" and "Vitalis Resort and Spa" are two different locations. But if you checked in on either one, you are entitled for free shuttle rides back and forth. (also applicable when you avail their zipline) via ourawesomeplanet.com Enjoy it's overlooking view of Santiago Cove whilst strolling through their blue and white colored villas perched high on the mountain cliffs. Guests enjoying the infinity pool while the sun is going down. Now here's some of the villas you'll definitely love... making you feel like you're really at Greece!

PAOAY, ILOCOS NORTE Last month I was able to unwind from all the stress and gloomy environment at work. Despite only planning a few days before the trip, we pushed through it with enthusiasm. I was excited to do things I have neve r done before. The spontaneous being in me is always happy on occasions like this. So here we go! Our first stop is Paoay, Ilocos Norte. Hitting off La Paz Sand Dunes under the blazing hot sun. (At right: Salvi Hermano ) Sandboarding requires core balance for you to properly traverse downhill. It is advised to try to sit backwards whenever you get wobbly and never-EVER-get off the board while it is still moving. Even got to try driving the 4x4 truck for a while(which was amazing)--glad I brought my license with me. A bit clunky and unusual way of shifting gears but nevertheless, great experience going through small slopes near the sandboarding spots. Next stop, Ma
