Baguio City

After hours of travelling to the Summer Capital of the Philippines, we decided to first get some sugar rush going. Another day of heading out to great views, scenery, and destination.

Took some shots around before heading to Burnham Park.

Look up. Sometimes you'll find the answer on the most obvious of places.

I brought along a book I'm reading, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It talks about discovering your own Personal Legend or simply your calling in this world. Something that fills your heart with enthusiasm and fulfillment; One's journey to accomplishing their dreams no matter what.

"You must understand that love never keeps a man from pursuing his Personal Legend. If he abandons that pursuit, it's because it wasn't true love..... The love that speaks the Language of the World"

Burnham Park, one of the famous landmarks when you go to Baguio, has areas you need to visit and just let nature seep through your soul.

Burnham Lagoon, as the locals refer to it, is a man-made lake with rowboats you can hire. I've tried this before when my family visited Baguio when I was a kid. Too bad we didn't get the chance to do so during this visit since we have time constraints :(

Next, we hailed a cab going to Wright Park where the Pool of Pines
and Mansion House resides.

Mansion House, Constructed in 1907 and rebuilt in 1947 during the World War II, is the official summer residence of the Philippine President. Tourists can only take photos as far as the front yard depicted in the right picture.

On the Entrance: A view of the Pool of Pines surrounded by, you guessed it right, Pine Trees.

We walked on the narrow road at the side which is also passable by vehicles by the way, and reached a somewhat mural. Then had strawberry taho. Yum! :)

After a winding day, we got on a bus headed home.

See you again Baguio! Off to the next adventure!
